We will have a few of these to give  to public space growers (and we’ll have some at the AGM too, see above)

The Feed-Leeds inspired concept was discussed at a very successful seminar on 15 / 10 / 15.

This is a potential major initiative which would change much about the way Leeds thinks and acts around food and green space.

The tubs have now been cleared, as planned, by Parks. Next year they will be planted again, if all goes to plan, having been adopted by a local group.

The Leeds Parks and Green Spaces Forum visited the edible beds and orchard run by the Friends of AGF and REAP, (Roundhegians and Parks are also partners). Nice to see the Feed Leeds logo on their sign 🙂

What would Dr Who say? Thanks to Parks, veg is sprouting out all over Leeds: “Educate! Educate!” (And harvest at will)

These chaps are guarding the door to St Johns Church, next to the St Johns Centre.

This was a great success, with people visiting edible gardens right across Leeds, on the 7th of June 2015.

The committee (plus two) have been getting their hands dirty planting up the tubs in City Square. Many thanks to Feed Leeds /LCC Parks’ Paul Ackroyd for making the beds and some of the plants available, and for Feed Leeds/Bardon Grange’s Caroline Scott for the rest. Signs will be installed shortly.
